Mission Statement of Animals in Crisis, Inc.

Our mission is simple:
  1. To spay and neuter as many cats as possible.
  2. To feed and provide shelter and vet care for these cats.
  3. To educate people that cats are not disposable creatures and need to be spayed/neutered and cared for.

One of the ways we attempt to implement this is through community outreach programs. We go into neighborhoods where there are feral cats and find a responsible person to feed and care for these cats on a daily basis. We spay/neuter these cats, provide Styrofoam boxes for shelters, donate food, and are available to take the cats to the vet (or bring the vet to the cats) as needed. This way we are not taking potential homes away from domestic cats, but instead are providing the feral cats with what they need to survive. The cats can then continue to provide rodent control for their neighborhoods.
